Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Free Fish website, why we collect it and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
Don’t Skip Humanity, operated by HUMAN IMPACT LAB UNIP LDA (Rua João de Barros 6, 5D, 2825-468 Costa da Caparica, Portugal), is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at studio@dontskiphumanity.org.
What we collect
This website has no forms. When you choose to contact us, the contact buttons open your own email client with a message addressed to studio@dontskiphumanity.org. We receive what you decide to send us, like your name, your email address and your message.
When you make a donation on this website, your payment details go directly to Stripe, which processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive a confirmation of the donation with your name, your email address and the amount, but never your card details.
This website is built and hosted on Webflow, which produces technical data, like server logs, to run and protect the site. We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website.
This website was designed by Don’t Skip Humanity in partnership with Tellers Productions. As producers, we do everything we can to use only ethical hosting and services that respect your data.
Why we use it
We use your data to answer your emails, to organise screenings, to process donations you choose to make and to keep the website working and secure.
Who we share it with
Emails you send us arrive at studio@dontskiphumanity.org and are read by the production team. We share data only with the services that make the website work: Webflow, which hosts the site, our email provider and Stripe for donations. We do not sell personal data.
Some of these providers, like Webflow, Stripe and Google, may process data in the United States. They do so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the safeguards required by European data protection law.
Embedded content
The trailer on this website is played through YouTube. When you play it, YouTube may collect data about you under its own privacy policy. Cookies set by external services are covered in our Cookies Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to handle your request. Records connected to payments and screening agreements are kept for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy of it or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we use it and withdraw consent you gave before. To do any of this, write to studio@dontskiphumanity.org. If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
